Lev is also proficient in cutting-edge production and mixing techniques, utilizing software like iZotope RX for audio restoration and mastering.
Lev's journey began with a degree in electrical engineering and training in double bass at a music college. Over the past seven years, he has honed his craft at some of the industry’s most prestigious studios, including Abbey Road, Westpoint, and Angels, as well as at renowned venues such as Troxy, Clapham Grand, and Kings Place.
Beyond the studio, Lev has extensive experience in live sound engineering. He has served as a FOH and MON engineer for small bands across genres, including modern jazz and rock, and for larger ensembles, such as 60-piece orchestras and big-bands. His live sound expertise includes roles as a chief technician for diverse events, from large-scale festivals to intimate private events featuring high-profile celebrities.
Lev is adept at assembling and engineering line arrays, operating digital consoles, managing RF and wireless equipment, and overseeing all aspects of live sound production.
In the studio, he has successfully managed complex recording sessions, collaborating closely with session musicians and arranging full bands for live album recordings. His portfolio includes projects ranging from recording small orchestras and big bands to mixing releases for major pop artists and rappers. Lev's work with leading labels, including Sony Music and Universal Music, has contributed to projects amassing over 50 million streams across platforms.
