My experience spans analog and digital realms, including SSL, API, Studer, and Neve consoles, and a deep understanding of vintage and modern recording equipment. My expertise extends to using modern production and mixing techniques and software such as iZotope RX for audio restoration and mastering.
My journey began with a degree in electrical engineering and training in double bass at a music college. Over the past six years, I've honed my craft in some of Russia's top studios like Galernaya 20, Redwave, and Dobrolet.
In addition to my extensive studio work, I have significant experience in live sound engineering. I have worked as a FOH engineer for small bands across genres from modern jazz to rock, and as a MON engineer for larger ensembles, including a 60-piece orchestra.
My roles have encompassed working as a chief technician for various events, from large festivals to intimate shows with high-profile celebrities. I am skilled in assembling and engineering line arrays, operating all digital consoles, managing RF and wireless equipment, and handling live sound production.
I've handled complex studio sessions, working closely with session musicians and arranging full bands for live recordings of entire albums. My projects have ranged from recording small orchestras and big bands to mixing major pop artists and rappers. Notably, I have mixed releases for major labels such as Sony Music Russia and Universal Music Russia, achieving over 50 million streams across platforms.
